in appreciation of red hats!

(as part of an email i worte to a new freind....)

...now to change the subject. i've always liked womyn for friends, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmas, divas, singers, dancers, actors, teachers, students & mother(s). i was the 21st teen member of NOW chapter in springfiled, missouri at age 13 as a young man. & i've always been a man who loved men. but just after watching a pbs special on the red hat society. i wish i were a womyn (and not just the gay friend.) the comrodery was inspring. i think i'll go on line tomorrow & see if they have a friends & loved ones of the red hat society that include mature men like myself.

(i've survived myown bought w/breast cancer... (and proudly wear a lavender cap) a bad bicycle/auto accident...
many things wheather big or small change one's life. even the smallest peable effects the surface of a pool. the smallest grain of sand adds to the nano seconds in an egg timer. (as above so below... as within so without...) we all should be proud of the womyn in our lives. i first relized about the red hat society in chicago where several took their pink hatted granddaughters to an american girl doll store for tea... then from my dear friend pam in johnsburgh, il. i even bought a red hat scarf for my friend donna when she turned 50 y/o.
one of the last things they said on the pbs program i had just viewed was that the red hat society could change the world. i would hope they'd change it for the sake of peace and understanding they seem best to embody as a group-- for all nations, all people, all religions, all ages and both genders.)

...with that just said. i m glad u found me a few days ago & started a chat here. being into spirituality & tantric sex. it's also good to have men in my live too. thanks to zeus & hera for a guy like u, too.

(so, cheers to the red hat society... long may they reign! and thanks again to pbs for this program brought another tear of happiness to me and countless others.)

sunflowers yellow and full faced
as the first vincent william…

or your name sake kissed.
red rose in the flower bed
among the great you’ve taken your place.

you long for the land where cherry blossoms fall
and the watery garden’s of your contemporary
or the high kicking dancers of another small giant
the ravens from your golden fields call
not content to be ordinary

AWARE to the CAWS

from the ancients greek & scandinavian
the raven had power
in poe's poem he pushed the murder's
sanity to fall into the crevas of insanity
tonight the raven is portrayed in a scifi tv movie.

in fact it is a quite intellegent beasty
w/various "caws" each having shared meaning w/other ravens
not unlike that languages of aquatic mamals like whales & dolphins.
it was a suprime savior in some cases among the indigenous americans.
sometime the joke but wise either way.

luthern said strange is the bird that cramps in it's own nest.
yes we could learn another lesson form our feathered friends here.
not just misunderstanding or silly childish fear.
(in this movie, it was mad cows disease that cause mad ravens to attack.
greed & lust for the simple life is our dis-ease.)
mais oui, that we learn from our brothers & siters in nature
before the moon wanes, the sun bakes in global warming.
according to the myan calendar in 2050's the catacism will come...
& the earth will recover wich of our fellow animals will be around--
after our mistakes.
in early greek & herbrew the first book of the bible says be good stewards of the earth, not what the king james translators wrote "take dominion."
foul (not fowl) or transgressions & evil our sins that we mudrer GIA!
may these grand black birds attend thee in this horid last days...
may u like persophenie arise from hades bring us the spring of a new age!
hopefully & prayerfully the dawn of a better & wiser age.

the next time you hear the (town cryer -) caw of the ravens
do not dismay or fret
but do take to heart the state of our fair planet.
caw, caw upon the sky in light of day or dark of night...
black feahters above save us from our folly's plight.

so wing, ravens fly
guide our fallen souls across the styx or to vahala or to the sky fathers
chat us a meter
reborn as we die...
AWARE this time to take the bothers
we r but the children of our fair demeter.

a poem inspired by "caw" on scifi 4/12/2007
& a beleifs of our collective consciousness

"excuse et fantasie"

"fantasize about rejecting the apologies
that i know will never come"
from damrizitypepad.com/
to that i add "thank the devine & hope to forgive in reality, forget the hurt but learn the lessons. life endures....

"yes cammie there is a santa clause". and everyday is christmas in one of my favorite websites:
yes there's more OUT there than cruise sites!
u can find all the koolest gay blogs, there is a section for the hottie of the day, "yummo!" as rachael ray would say. i was mentioned there as 1 of the best gay blogs last year i had only had my blog up & running 5 weeks when i recieved that acculade. so maybe i m prejudiced a little but it is a fine place to learn, be gay & have a great time w/o wasting hours trying to get an online hook up.

w/that said at time we all need a hook up. (but i m looking for some uniquely handsome men to sketch.) i read it as i do cheque me messages in favorite gay men's sites ie daddyhunt.com, silverdaddies.com, manhunt.net & adam4adam.com as well as normalgay.com & bigmuscle.com. w/no regualrity i view a few bd/sm & bar sites too.

but what i hunger most for is a website fo the sipirtually aware gay male. for me the ideal on would be the gayhermeticphilosopher... but no one has that up & running yet. when they do i hope to be 1 of the first to view it.

enjoy ur day or evening where ever u happen to be. it's cold gray & rainy here. so cheers to the sunny days of spring.

drama queens

in all life
microscopic & macroscpoic
there is drama.
life & death.
enven in the most-
suttle situations.
but is there ever
enough drama
to support all
the dram queens?

i've seen death...
from animals shot for food
to humans in nursing homes,
accident along the roadside
& hospitals.
are dirty dishes
worth all that bother?
is an hour late
that grave a sin?
what exactly merrits
a drama queen acting
upon a silver stage?

with children working
as indentured servants
aka slaves!
darfur - genicide...
in our life time!
a president out spending
the social security budget...
iraq & iran...
where will it stop?
when will is cease?
& how can we worry--
over tirvalties.
who does our drama queen save?

so, i'll try harder
but i m mere human,
as r we all...
will this afternoon's
dirty dishes or unswept floor
keep western civilization
from a crumble or fall?

where there is one
he's alone
where there is two
a pair
where there is three
conflict
but as adults
lets learn to be
fair.

so fill a glass
& toast a host
let's all get pissed
for the show is about to start
& the drama not to be missed!

probingeagle, huffitcorn, other friends & casualities:

the happy tarot tarriost here!

able to read a person with the major & minor arcanna.
i do the celtic cross; alchemist's diamond; & lastly "3" past, present & future. been reading cards since i was a wee baren, (started studying at age 6 & reading at age 11). i use numeroly as well as symbolism utilize planetary influneces from the paths in the tree of life. am working on a syallbus. please google, read & practice.
practice + tallent = genius.

there's amny tarot decks but my favorites are:
hanson robert's
robin wood's
art nouveau
rensaissance
deck of the ages...

there are many good books on tarot but haven't found any good ones form lewellyn books yet but i'll keep looking. learn numerology & basic tarot symbolism & go from there.
caution - most "booklets" inside the tarot decks are very homogrenus in interpretation w/o explanation. i hear that there' now even a gay tarot deck, yes, we've cumm along way baby.
please comment & i can add some to this blog entry as u offer ur tarot insight.

a posting in progress i'd so appreciate ur help in writing it. this work in progress...
after 40 years of study, i think the scinece of tarot is always changing as we metamorphisis. (think of the tree of life & the hermetic symbol the cudusa.) we practice it like with medicine but never becomre more than practioners...
it is but one oth the truths of spiritul alchemy & divination.

happy easter... whatever...

spent it with friends baking peach pies, cleaning house before guest etc...

(had coloured eggs the traditional & some arty ones coloured by silk ties- etc., made deviled eggs & garnished w'sliced olives; crafts: blew eggs clear to decorate w/robin's egg blue, lavender & silver glitter & sequence then hot glued ribbon & ribbon florets to each as i hung them from bearch branches placed in either a silk blue box decorated w/angle stamp bunnies in black, green, etc then hot glued the top to the open end of the box & secondly in a terracotta pot w/grain ribbon also printed w/angle stamps for the holiday; practiced my romanian lap harp as im left little finger is fractured.)

wait on company serving various chips & dips, as well as beverages; help fix dinner ie the gravy from lamb renderings, peal & smash potaotes, & pass out plates as they were dished up. we dined & revel... took photos enjoyed champagne then after served peach pie w/a spice buttery sauce. then enjoyed some tv, an old shirley temple movine while doing dishes & sotwing food into container. as the guest left passed out small easter baskets, coloured eggs. then got on computer searched the web looking for theose few special guy that would like to be sketched or find me interesting enought to meet. unfortunately couldn't find a friend guy that wasn't headed for bed alone as i soon will be.

art is fine & dandy. it allows all the creative chi to flow out into wonderful directions but it doesn't kiss or hug or even have the any of the warth of human touch. so, here i m sipping mulled wine awaiting for my prince charming to gallop up on a white beautiful unicorn or pagusus...
it was my favorite reoccuring dream to go of to a castle w/a knight (japanese, as i spent my early years there) to come & rescue me from obsqurity & take me to his castle, make babbies & live happily ever after but my gram told me early on that 2 guys couldn't make babbies so i replies only as a 6 year old could, "we'll adopt a japanese one".

since then i won & failed have percious memories & my own share of sorrows due to my own failures. karama past present & future here i sit punching away at theis key board sharing w/anyone out there who care to read, a new creative venue, a new volunerablity. i type out words exposing my dreams, desires, my creative muses aid me but the final action is mine unless u comment.

i've loved:
flirtations...
mary stevens of petterhead, scotland to who'm i lost my virginity. for her i m thankful.
david, my first intense love, a kind deaf - orthodix jewish lad who i loved 18 month then loss to a tragic vechicular accident. the first love i drew, loving him fed my muse. discovering man love, for him i m thankful.
jerri, a kind polish lady who taought me about life & sex w/a woman. for her i m thankful.
jerry, a long beach undercover narcotic policeman we long entensely too who died tragically while on duty. i still dream of our wild sex on cycles, on sail boats & horse back & how he taught me to be free in my sexuality & sprinkle in myown creativity. for him i m thankful.
dk, a student/teacher/tantric mentor. he taught me that love making could be spiritual & worth working hard at doing ones best & not just popin' my nutz! for him i m thankful.
john c, a short time but memerable lover & the best man at my wedding. to him i m thankful
linda, my wife we loved & failed each other i was too young & she too determined at least we might still be friends. the mother of my 3 children to her i m thankful.
hugh sprague e, a handsome student that brought me out of myself exile.
maryann, who taught me to trust a woman again.
pam conners, the afro-american lover. if i weren't so scared i might have divorced & married her. to her i m thankful.
blase & steven, friends & fuck buddies. for both of u i m thankful.
marc of the mark, the hairdresser, a small town boy with giant sized sophistocation. for u i m thankful.
ricky lynn, my decade lover we bounced aroud the counrty mainly in missouri only to have loved & failed but always & foremost friends. to him i m thankful.
dan, after relocating a year of pergatory i felt most suspended between heaven & hell. to him i m thankful.
richard, the good love gone very bad. if it had come to hate it would have been better than the crosiveness it ended with - too soone to say thanks but working on it.
& i m thankful for all those zipless fucks one has tucked away in their memories to keep a song in the heart & a smile on their face to get through the dark aloneness of night.

and u...
are u out there waiting to loved & another protrait in the tapestry of my life,
woven like those athene, goddess of justice, the olive branch, who set in
momument enlaid in gold my mind rushes to nashville where she now resides
gather now around me, my athens, my peaceful neogreecians, artist, philophers...
come to me now as those to be mentored & with her help i'll do my damnest.
along w/apollo & artemis, medicine, the arts, camping, join me in ther hunt...
then lets spend awhile teaching each other the luxeries of life, love & song.

until u, it's me, my memories & my lucid dreams...
easter sunday 2007

soon i'll have recient art scanned & downloaded!

i m gainfully employed art teacher art/music therapist... won't have me time to scan & down load newer art into blog until later in semester.

currently have a fracture left little finger... please give me a ring if u'd like i usually go to bed 2 am & work tuesday & thursday afternoons into late evenings at university. so data proccessing is a little difficult as well as tying to play the harp, guitar, flute even the romanian lap harp...
so much for my current woes.
